Ecopools was established as an International brand at the 4th International Conference on Swimming Ponds in the Czech Republic, in 2011. Our members are Natural Swimming Pool builders who share the same Ubuntu philosophy. Ubuntu literally translated from the African Bantu language is defined as:

• "I am what I am because of who we all are" (Umntu Ubuntu Ngabantu)
• A person with Ubuntu is open and available to others, affirming of others, does not feel threatened that others are able and good, for he or she has a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that he or she belongs in a greater whole and is diminished when others are humiliated or diminished.

This is the philosophy that we subscribe to and share with our local and international partners. This is the way we interact with our staff, our clients and the world around us.
